Legal / Privacy notice

Your information, explained

This notice covers browsing the ledger and contacting its operator.

Who is responsible?

Spritzpuzzlewhistle Systems Ltd is responsible for personal information handled in connection with this website. Contact us at [email protected] or 16 Park Row, Leeds LS1 5HD, United Kingdom. Company number: 15182643.

Information involved

Normal web requests disclose technical information such as an IP address, browser information, requested resource and request time to the hosting infrastructure. Such information may be processed in technical logs to deliver and protect the site. The supplied website code does not include analytics, advertising trackers, account registration or customer inventory connections.

If you send an email, we receive your address, message and any information you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive personal data or third-party customer records.

The local message tool

Text entered on the Contact page is processed in your browser. The tool does not transmit those fields to us or save them in localStorage. Copying places text on your device clipboard; downloading creates a text file on your device. Your browser, clipboard services, device backups and email provider may handle that text under their own settings and policies.

Purposes and legal bases

Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on legitimate interests to operate and secure an informative website and to respond to relevant correspondence. We consider those interests alongside your rights. We may also process information where necessary to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Sharing, transfers and retention

Hosting and email providers may process information as necessary to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed where legally required. We do not sell personal information. If processing involves a restricted international transfer, applicable safeguards must be used, such as an adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual protections.

Correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the enquiry, keep an appropriate record and meet legal requirements. Technical records should be kept for proportionate operational and security purposes. Retention needs are reviewed rather than treated as indefinite.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights are subject to applicable conditions and exemptions. Contact us with enough detail to identify your request; proportionate identity checks may be necessary.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We welcome the chance to address a concern first, but this is not a condition of contacting the regulator.
